“Energy for all – A challenge for all”

“Energy for all – A challenge for all” energy conference took place in The Hague during 26-27 November 2008. Mr. Elchin Mammadov represented Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization.

At the beginning of conference Mr. Ian de Jong (Director General for European Cooperation at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs) commented about IEA World Energy Outlook. Then in the opening session Mr. Geert Greving (head of Public Affairs for GasTerra, Groningen) mentioned about today's   



Young Atlanticist Summit


As world leaders met this April for the largest NATO summit in Alliance history, future leaders from across the Euro-Atlantic region and Afghanistan convened in Bucharest to grapple with the major security issues facing the Atlantic Community today and to launch an innovative on-line community – the Young Atlanticist Network. The Young Atlanticist Summit, held in conjunction with the official NATO Summit, brought together over 120 students and young professionals representing NATO and Partner  



AGAAT member takes part in the International Youth Meeting in Georgia


Member of Azerbaijan Youth Euro Atlantic Organization Mr. Agshin Umudov has taken part in the International Youth Meeting: Inter-Religious Dialogue for Advancing Democracy and Human Rights Protection. The meeting was held between 24-29 May, 2007 in Bakuriani, Georgia and organized by the one of the Georgian NGOs the Union “Century 21” within the European Youth Campaign for Diversity, Human Rights and Participation in the framework of “All Different, All Equal” campaign. AGAAT members at NATO HQs

On Monday, 23 October 2006 best graduates from NATO International School in Azerbaijan visited to NATO HQ (Brussels). Three members of Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization – Coshgun Imanquliyev, Gulperi Ayyubova and Mujdat Hasanov – participated in this programme. During a programme they had met with some officials. Mrs. Yeter YAMAN-NAUCODIE, Information Officer for Azerbaijan, Public Diplomacy Division had welcoming remarks and presentation on NATO’s Agenda for the Riga Summit. Then Mr. E  



International Youth Meeting in Tbilisi, Georgia, December 7 -12, 2006

The project “Youth Workers in Training - Improving Working Skills for International Youth Exchanges” was organized by the Academy for Peace and Development and hosted in Georgia, Tbilisi in the framework of “Youth in Action” with the support of European Union. The member of Azerbaijani Youth Euro Atlantic Organization Mr. Ismayil Isayev has participated in the event and represented AYEAO during the meeting.

The project aimed to improve skills and abilities of youth workers in running  



Today's NRC (NATO-Russia Council) facing tomorrow's threats

 

Member of Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization, Javad Javadov participated in Winter Academy-2006 on the theme "Today's NRC (NATO-Russia Council) facing tomorrow's threats" which was held by the Centre for European Security with the support of the NATO Information Office in Moscow, NATO Public Diplomacy Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for young scholars, diplomats and officers, last-year students and post-graduates from Moscow, different regions o  



The Chairman of AGAAT has participated at the 51 General Assembly of ATA/YATA

The 51 General Assembly of ATA/YATA was held in Tallinn, Estonia during September 27 to October 1, 2005.

 

The working day started with a council meeting of YATA and continued with the elections to the board. And the results of elections are:

Are we winning the fight against international terrorism and does NATO have a role to play in this fight?

 

On the 12th December the member of Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization, Shahla Balakishiyeva has participated in the International Conference of International YATA in the headquarters of NATO in Brussels, Belgium under the name of “Are we winning the fight against international terrorism and does NATO have a role to play in this fight?”.

The working day started with the welcoming remarks and Briefing on NATO’s Current Agenda which were done by Dr. Stefanie B
