"Peace vs. Victory: where do we stand?”
Baku Azerbaijan, 26-30 July 2010 Call for Application
Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization (AYEAO) is pleased to announce call for application to "Peace vs. Victory: where do we stand?” TC. The training course is organized by AYEAO with the support of German Federal Foreign Office and the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa). ETHNO-TERRITORIAL CONFLICTS IN SOUTH CAUCASUS: NEW APPROACHES AND PERSPECTIVES
Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic
Organization with technical support of Qafqaz University and with the financial
support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the
Republic of Azerbaijan had implemented a project called “Ethno-Territorial
Conflicts in South Caucasus: New Approaches and Perspectives” on 25-27 September
2009.

2nd NATO SIMULATION GAME in AZERBAIJAN
2nd NATO Simulation game
within the frame of Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization was held in
Qafqaz University in April 5, 2009. “The role of NATO in the solution of
regional conflicts” was the topic of the simulation. Given states and
international organizations, represented by the students, came together to solve
the conflict between two countries.

“Promoting Peace in Central Asia and Caucasus: Conflict Transformation and Confidence Building”

to a common historical background, the
countries of Central Asia and Caucasus share many socio-political

YOUNG ATLANTICIST CLUB
Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic
Organization had organized the project called “Young Atlanticist Club” with
financial support of The Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of
the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project had implemented in four major regions of
Azerbaijan, which are Sumgait, Ganja, Lankaran and Guba, within September and
November months in 2008. There approximately 100 participants had took part in
various activities in framework of the project.

Second Exhibition of the Youth Organizations
Azerbaijan Youth Euro Atlantic Organization has participated in the second exhibition of the youth organizations organized by Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the framework of “Azerbaijan State Youth Program” in June 13, 2008. The overall aim of the exhibition was promotion of activities of youth organizations and stimulation of participation of young people in social work.

NATO SIMULATION GAME in AZERBAIJAN
Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization with the support of “Qafqaz” University has organized first time ever in Azerbaijan NATO Simulation game in February 23, 2008. The topic of the simulation game was one of the actual issues of international politics and namely “Energy security in today’s international system”. Fifteen young people from different Universities of Azerbaijan took part in the simulation and played the role of various states as well as international organizations.  |

Training: Acting for a drug-free life Baku, Azerbaijan, July 24-29
Azerbaijan Youth Euro Atlantic Organization together with Galli Group, Austria, have organized a training for European youth workers in Baku, Azerbaijan, in which we have thought successful training modules for social inclusion of young people who are living at the edge of society, especially those who are having drug addiction problems. Peacekeepers and Troublemakers - Internal and external conflict management -
The president of Azerbaijan Youth Euro Atlantic Organization Mr. Ziya Gaziyev has participated in DAYS 2007 (Danish Atlantic Youth Seminar) devoted to the current situation in the Caucasus, which was organized by the Danish Atlantic Treaty Association. How to avoid conflicts in Caucasus: European cooperation as a role model? Round II
This international event is being held as a second round of the same initiative, which was held by AGAAT and JEF Azerbaijan with the support of the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe in Baku, in April 2004. The organizers decided to return once again to the topic after 2 years so that to evaluate the development in Azerbaijani society in this period. This time the project was also be linked to the “All Different-All Equal” Campaign of the Council of Europe.
