The project “Youth Workers in Training - Improving Working Skills for International Youth Exchanges” was organized by the Academy for Peace and Development and hosted in Georgia, Tbilisi in the framework of “Youth in Action” with the support of European Union. The member of Azerbaijani Youth Euro Atlantic Organization Mr. Ismayil Isayev has participated in the event and represented AYEAO during the meeting.
The project aimed to improve skills and abilities of youth workers in running intercultural youth exchanges, to improve the knowledge of youth workers about partnership in projects, quality standards, ICL, conflict resolution and role of teamer, to bring together organizations working with young people in order to create new project ideas within the YOUTH Program.
Participants from Azerbaijan, Poland, Estonia, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Italy, France, UK, Belarus, Netherlands worked on quality in youth projects, good partnership, function and importance of preparatory meetings, role of teamer in international youth projects, group dynamic processes, conflict management on interpersonal conflicts, intercultural learning, developing project ideas for intercultural youth exchanges through informal methodologies such as team working, discussions, simulation games and so on.
Intercultural day provided opportunity for every participant to present his/her culture and traditions.
