Member of Azerbaijan Youth Euro-Atlantic Organization, Javad Javadov participated in Winter Academy-2006 on the theme "Today's NRC (NATO-Russia Council) facing tomorrow's threats" which was held by the Centre for European Security with the support of the NATO Information Office in Moscow, NATO Public Diplomacy Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for young scholars, diplomats and officers, last-year students and post-graduates from Moscow, different regions of Russia as well as from Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia. The event took place from 20 to 25 February 2006 in Moscow.
Official opening program of Winter Academy was on 20 February 2006 by participating of Dr. Tatyana Parkhalina, Director, Centre for European Security, Vice-President, Russian Association for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation; NATO Assistant Secretary General Jean Fournet, Director, Public Diplomacy Division, NATO HQ; H.E. Ambassador Gianfranco Facco Bonetti, The Embassy of Italy in the RF; Mr. Viktor Ross, Charge d’affaires, The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the RF; Prof. Yuriy Afanasiev, President of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
Participants could ask all interested them questions to special guests or ambassadors of different countries, who were invited as guests to the Winter Academy.
