The 51 General Assembly of ATA/YATA was held in Tallinn, Estonia during September 27 to October 1, 2005.
The working day started with a council meeting of YATA and continued with the elections to the board. And the results of elections are:

In the second part of the day different groups were created, where the participants were discussing how YATA should work in near future. Later groups presented their outcomes in the plenary session and the meeting of YATA is finished.
At the same day there was Opening Ceremony of the General Assembly of ATA. After the Welcome addresses made by Mr. Indrek KANNIK, President of the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association and Ambassador Robert E. HUNTER, President of the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA), some keynote remarks were delivered by H. E. Kristin Krohn DEVOLD, Defense Minister of Norway; H. E. Boris TARASYUK, Foreign Minister of Ukraine; Gen. Wesley K. CLARK (Ret.), Former SACEUR; Dr. Jean FOURNET, NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy and others.
The last day of the conference started with the “ATA FORUM” where ATA Secretary General Mr. Troels FRØLING made an introduction and then presentation of national and regional activities of ATA members were made by representative of ATAs.
The conclusion and closing addresses of the General Assembly were made by Mr. Siim KALLAS, Vice-President of European Commission and Ambassador Robert E. HUNTER, President of the Atlantic Treaty Association.
